As a boxer, Rashid understands that he must be able to think clearly enough to see what adjustments he could make inside the squared circle. He has the physical skills to execute the plan. His discipline has enabled his body and mind to work in harmony in the ring, which is one of the most hostile places on the planet. Rashid is constantly developing his ring intelligeience and enhancing his ability to adapt his mind to understand the technical aspects of boxing.

Rashid has been taught that you need to have athletic ability and the determination to turn that into fighting skill. It takes hundreds of hours in the gym and years to develop the specific characteristics needed to be a great boxer. Rashid was drawn to the sport because he truly loves the one-on-one competition and has seen his boxing heroes emerge victorious in big fights and he wants to emulate that success.
